Shizuka went to Tokyo, hoping she’s gonna meet Chappy. Except that Marina is right, Chappy’s dead. Shizuka went full psycho on Takopi.
And a plot twist that I didn’t expect. It turns out, Takopi originally is supposed to help Marina. Being the clueless octopus blob he is, he concluded that killing Shizuka in the past would bring Marina her happiness. Cue the monkey’s paw curling. And then, the real (true) original sin of Takopi is revealed.
Somehow the plot twist works. I hope the final episode ties everything together well. This series has been so good.

Rejecting your own child… That’s rough.
At this point I don’t think there’s a good ending unless takopi goes back in time to before Shizuka and Marika met. Too much damage has already been done. It always leads to either one of them to die and the other to go insane.
Also this episode confirms that character appearance is more or less a depiction of their mental state.
