A lib I know genuinely hopes that if a Republican wins the next presidential election that it’s DeSantis, even though I’ve explained time and again that DeSantis is a literal war criminal who helped worsen the tortures in Guantanamo; for him it’s just ‘controversial’ or ‘not great’.
