They’re still sanitizing what it is. To most USians, internment camps were just a silly little mistake we made during WWII.
Call them concentration camps because that is their intended purpose, and that is a much more emotionally charged term.
When hurricane season comes, all these people will be washed away and everyone responsible will shrug and say “how could we have seen this coming?” Media and politicians will call it “gross negligence” at worst, ignoring the fact that it was the plan all along.
