Lol, no. First off, put a bit of heat shrink over the tip of your solder sucker and shrink it down. That will reduce the tip size drastically and massively increase the suction. It will slip off for easy cleaning too.
Second, just add flux to any solder wick. Add a bunch of it. That is why it does not work well. FLUX FIXES EVERYTHING in soldering. Third, high quality solder and tips make a huge difference. Fourth, quit whining about cleaning flux and get a cheap jewelry ultrasonic cleaner, a cheap old ultrasonic toothbrush, and at least 90% isopropyl alcohol. That will make cleaning any flux fast and easy.
