Very much the opposite–I have always had a strong natural sense of direction.
My partner’s brother was like this when he came to visit us. He’d drive in a random direction for a while and then call and be unable to describe where he was.

If I remember that, and then go the opposite way of where my internal compass says to go, then I still go the wrong way.
