    it hasn’t rained in so long that I scraped the bottom of the rain barrel last week & had to buy a jug of distilled water for my carnivorous babies because the tap water here is way too hard (like 850ppm of TDS last I checked) agony-deep

    new meme idea: Switch the guys around so its the starving frail guy on the right guzzling water and labeled “lawns” and the huge guy on the left getting only drips and labeled “drought tolerant native plants”

      That’s what I’m watering! I hope they’ll be more independent when they’re established but I just started from seeds a few months ago.
