You’d have to be pretty stupid/American to instantly assume a pointy nose is racist and the black/white is obviously a choice for the repeating pattern to be visible.

No, but Americans are the most obsessed with it and see it in everything even if it’s not there.
To me me that only says we’re less willing to ignore it.
