How is anyone watching these types of links? On mobile I have to download the video everytime. Am I doing something wrong?
It might be your mobile browser. I’m using Firefox’s mobile browser. Chrome can be buggy sometimes.

Was able to stream it without downloading on Safari iOS
Depends on the client that you’re using, some work others don’t.
Just tested on Voyager and Infinity for Lemmy, both worked.
If you’re on Android, you can also open the links with ImgurViewer, it handles multiple sites
